Training at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University General Hospital of Larissa – May 2015

In May 2015, occupational therapy students conducted an educational visit to the psychiatric clinic at the University General Hospital of Larissa. They attended the clinic’s morning medical briefing, toured the facilities, and engaged with staff to understand the operation of the occupational therapy workshop.

Furthermore, they received an informative overview of the sleep laboratory’s functions, which allowed them to thoroughly appreciate the integration of occupational therapy in psychiatric care. This visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, deepening the students’ understanding of the role of occupational therapy within specialized health settings.

We gratefully acknowledge all who contributed to making this educational visit possible.
