The “Agro-basic skills: basic innovative skills in adult training in organic agriculture” project was a transnational ERASMUS+ initiative, coordinated by IRMA (Spain), involving partners from several EU countries.
The core objective of the project was to identify the best manuals and practices for adult education in organic farming. Based on the research outcomes, the essential skills required for organic cultivation were simplified to target individuals without prior knowledge, such as new small-scale farmers, urban farmers, and amateur gardeners.
It was important to simplify technical knowledge to a beginner’s level while retaining the necessary elements for learning organic farming methods.
